About The Event

All night Gong Meditation - the Gong Puja

10 or more beautiful healing Gongs will be played gently and continuously through the night by experienced Gong Players, so you can drift away and sleep, immersed in the healing sounds and vibrations.

In the early morning, the Gongs will go silent and the Gong Puja will be brought to an end.

You'll have the opportunity to be together in the energies we've created, for quiet conversation, grounding and sharing.

The term 'Puja' a sacred ritual or worship, was applied to the all night Gong Meditation by Don Conreaux who set out the timing - equivalent to 10 x 45minute GongSound meditations -  as being of great benefit to the mind, body and spirit …

WHAT TO BRING?

💚 Bedding: Something VERY comfortable and warm to lie on plus, pillows, blankets, throws ,extra padding and eye mask.

Whatever you need to be REALLY  comfortable lying on a hard floor for 8 hours.

Believe me, just a yoga mat won't do it!

Please, no bean bags as they cause too much noise when you move about.

(The large car park is very close by so you won't need to carry your bedding very far.)

💚 Comfy Clothing: Pyjamas or equivalent; warm socks/slippers. (No outdoor shoes in the Gong Space).

Eyemask, sleeping mask or scarf to cover your eyes if required.

💚 Food and Water: Please bring water to keep hydrated throughout in a silent bottle. Bring your preferred light breakfast - fruit, muesli & cows milk will be provided. Special dietry requirements? please bring what you need. There is a SMALL fridge.

Herbal teas and nibbles are provided throughout.

💚 Beforehand: It's a good idea to ensure you've eaten a good meal a couple of hours before the event - a heavy meal and alcohol beforehand aren't recommended.

💚 Afterwards:Whatever you need to freshen up in the morning - a small hand towel is a good idea. There are limited washing facilities ie, the hand basins in the cloakrooms.

Snoring:  Heavy snoring - if someone is snoring heavily for a while, we will gently nudge them and encourage them to change position. It might be an idea to have ear plugs to hand in case you 'fix' on someone's snoring.

Not recommended :

  • In the first or last trimester of pregnancy
  • Any sound sensitive condition
  • Epilepsy
  • If a Pacemaker is fitted
  • If you are uncomfortable lying down for 8 hours. You may of course💚😊 go to the loo and visit the kitchen during the Meditation, but if you leave the building you won't be able to come back in.
